Our Schools

We have now awarded the Mark to our tranche of schools for 2016. Schools, Trusts and Federations were selected against the following criteria:

  • they were already deemed 'outstanding' by Ofsted with a demonstrably outstanding track record
  • they were recommended by our Early Adopter schools, (see below)
  • they were independently endorsed, in the course of our research, by at least two respected sources*
  • they were outstanding in a specific context, for example, regionally, or within a given specialism
  • in comparison to national averages, they had a track record of outstanding pupil achievement at Key Stage 4
  • they developed World Class students in ways that were ground-breaking
  • they represented a diversity of outstanding provision
  • their practice demonstrated a commitment to bringing about improvement through partnership and collaboration.
