Churchill Special Free School

Churchill School educates and supports children and young people aged 8-18 with Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties and/or autism to access a broad and challenging curriculum alongside mainstream pupils.

Our school supports children to learn and succeed in an innovative learning environment. We are ambitious for our pupils and have a dynamic and enthusiastic team working to make sure this is an extraordinary school.

Churchill School is located on the site of Samuel Ward Academy, an outstanding mainstream secondary school in Haverhill, Suffolk. This gives pupils access to a wide range of academic and social opportunities whilst still receiving the specialist support they need.

We support pupils to achieve an adult life that most of us take for granted, enabling them to access further learning and work beyond school.
